Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    salt
    butter (size of walnut), melted
    1/4 c. sugar
    pinch of mustard
    1 egg, beaten with a little water
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Add salt to cabbage.
    Melt butter.
    Pour remaining ingredients into melted butter and cook until thick.
    Pour over cabbage while hot.
    When cool, add 1 tablespoon mayonnaise.
