Micro-Easy Sweet N Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen pea pods
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 small onion, thinly sliced
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 large stalk celery, sliced diagonally
    2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1 (15 oz.) can pineapple chunks (in own juice; juice reserved)
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
    dash of ground ginger
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Place pods and water in 2-quart covered casserole.
    Microwave on High 2 to 3 minutes or until defrosted.
    Break apart and drain. Stir in the next 5 ingredients and set aside. In a 4-cup measure, combine cornstarch, bouillon, ginger and brown sugar. Stir in soy sauce, vinegar and reserved pineapple juice.
    Microwave on High 2 to 3 1/2 minutes or until sauce is clear and thickened, stirring every minute.
    Fold sauce into chicken mixture. Cover.
    Microwave on High 4 to 6 minutes or until heated through.
    Serve over rice. Makes 4 servings.
