Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    5 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 small can coconut
Preparation
    Beat egg whites first and set aside.
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add egg yolks and mix well.
    Add flour, milk, soda, vanilla and coconut, then add egg whites.
    Put in 3 (9-inch) round pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
