Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift flour, cream of tartar and salt together.
    Add to other ingredients.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
    in
    a bowl.
    Take 1 teaspoon of chilled dough.
    Roll into balls.
    Roll
    in
    cinnamon
    mixture.
    Bake
    for
    8
    to 10 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet at 450\u00b0.
