Ingredients

1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 tsp. maple extract
Preparation

Cook brown sugar, salt and water in large saucepan for 3 to 4 minutes (or until thick).
Add flavorings; makes 1 1/4 cups.
No need to butter waffles.
