Gran'S Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 gal. milk (whole or 2%)
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla or less
Preparation

Beat eggs and sugar until smooth and foamy.
Heat milk to scalding.
Do not boil.
Pour sugar and egg mixture slowly into milk.
Stir continually and cook until the custard coats a metal spoon.
