Never Fail Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. C & H powdered sugar
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. whipping cream (optional)
Preparation
    Gradually stir sugar into cream cheese.
    Add salt and vanilla. Melt chocolate in top of double boiler.
    Cool slightly and stir into cheese mixture.
    Add nuts.
    For softer fudge, add cream. Press into well-greased shallow pan or roll into log.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut when set.
    Makes about 1 pound.
