Apple Crisp Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 large apple
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. nuts
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Beat sugar and shortening until fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla until well mixed.
Peel and core apple, then chop.
Stir 1/2 of the flour mixture into the sugar mixture.
Stir in sour cream.
Then stir in sour cream and remaining flour mixture and apple.
Spread in pan.
Crush nuts and mix together brown sugar, butter and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over coffee cake.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
