Dandelion Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 to 4 c. cream or half and half
    sliced hard-boiled eggs
    sugar
    salt
    pepper
    vinegar
Preparation
    Cut bacon in small pieces.
    Fry until lightly browned. Sprinkle with flour and fry until flour is browned.
    Turn heat to low.
    Add sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar to your taste.
    Stir in cream.
    Simmer until hot; do not boil.
    Add sliced eggs; pour over dandelions or lettuce.
    Serve over boiled potatoes or toast.
