Chili Cheese Jubilee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 pkg. Lawry's chili seasoning mix
    1/2 c. water
    2 eggs
    1 c. light cream
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. corn chips
    8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, cubed
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in 8-inch square Pyrex dish for 4 minutes in microwave.
    Stir every 30 seconds.
    Drain fat.
    Melt butter for 20 seconds.
    Add onions and cook for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 minutes.
    Add tomato sauce, chili seasoning mix and water.
    Cook for 1 3/4 minutes.
    Beat the eggs slightly, add the cream and mix well.
    Add egg-cream mixture slowly to tomato-chili mixture, stirring constantly.
    Place 1/2 package chips in bottom of a 2-quart casserole.
    Top with 1/2 of beef, then add a layer of 1/2 of the Monterey Jack.
    Cover with 1/2 sauce.
    Repeat layers.
    Top with sour cream and sprinkle with grated Cheddar.
    Cook 6 to 7 minutes in microwave oven.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
