Apple Cake With Hot Caramel Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. pecans
    2 large cooking apples
    1 stick butter, soft
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 scant tsp. grated nutmeg
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Chop pecans finely.
    Peel, core and chop apples to make 2 1/2 cups.
    Pieces should be size of your thumbnail.
