Grandma'S Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Grandma's Molasses
    1 egg
    2 c. all purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Beat butter with sugar and molasses.
    Mix in egg.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to wet mixture.
    Mix well.
    Chill in freezer 1 hour or refrigerate for 2 hours.
