Angel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
grated rind of 2 lemons
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Beat egg whites until very stiff; add cream of tartar and slowly add 1 cup sugar.
Spread meringue into a well buttered glass pie plate.
Bake 1 hour.
Cool.
