Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. softened butter/margarine
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk
2 c. Bisquick
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. ground pecans
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix first 4 ingredients with fork in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Stir in Bisquick until moistened. Press mixture evenly into pan.
Bake 16 to 18 minutes or until light brown.
Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips and let stand until softened, 3 to 4 minutes; spread evenly.
Sprinkle with pecans.
Makes approximately 32 bars.
