Jiffy Jello - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can applesauce (16 oz.)
    1 box strawberry jello (3 oz.)
    1 container frozen strawberries (16 oz.)
Preparation
    Heat applesauce to boiling.
    Remove from heat and stir in jello until completely dissolved.
    Add frozen strawberries and continue stirring until mixture begins to thicken.
    Pour into clear glass bowl or square dish.
    Refrigerate and let set.
    May be decorated with Cool Whip and whole fresh strawberries.
