Christmas Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 2/3 c. flour
    white or chocolate frosting
    colored sugar
    8 oz. chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation
    Cream first 5 ingredients; set aside.
    Sift dry ingredients and add dry mixture gradually into creamed mixture.
    Blend well. Roll into 1-inch balls and flatten out with bottom of glass.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 8 minutes until edges are lightly brown.
    Frost and decorate when cool.
