Never-Fail Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Combine flour, cornmeal, eggs, sugar, milk and shortening in bowl; mix well.
    Pour into greased 9-inch cast-iron skillet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until brown.
    Yield:
    8 servings.
