Barbie'S Apple Butter Country Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lbs. county-style pork ribs
    salt and pepper
    1 (14 oz.) jar apple butter
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. white vinegar
    3 T. lemon juice
    2 t. prepared horseradish
    1 t. prepared mustard
    1/2 t. sugar
    1/2 t. garlic powder
    1/2 t. celery seeds
    1/8 t. black pepper
    Dash of red pepper and cumin
Preparation
    Place ribs in large dutch oven, add water to cover.
    Bring to boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 45 minutes or until tender. Drain well; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Set aside.
    Combine apple butter and remaining ingredients in a saucepan; stir well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Coat ribs generously with apple butter sauce, place on a cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour in 250-300\u00b0 oven.
    Baste occasionally with sauce.
