Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head red cabbage
    1 onion
    2 apples, chopped
    1/2 c. vinegar
    sugar or honey to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion chopped in margarine.
    Add chopped cabbage and stir and saute for 5 minutes.
    Add chopped apples and vinegar. Add sugar or honey to taste.
    Cover and cook slowly, stirring once in a while for 45 minutes or 1 hour.
    Salt, if desired.
