Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. molasses
1/3 c. margarine
1/4 c. honey
1 egg
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. boiling water
Lemon Sauce as topping (optional)
Preparation

Cream molasses, margarine, honey and egg.
Stir flours with baking powder, salt and spices.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with boiling water.
Beat well after each addition.
Bake in an 8 x 8-inch square pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
