Curry Lentil Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 onion
1 tsp. chopped fresh garlic
8 c. water
1 1/2 c. dry lentils
1/2 c. dry brown rice
14 oz. stewed tomatoes
5 oz. frozen, chopped spinach
2 tsp. curry powder
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
