Seafood Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 bell pepper
    1/4 c. parsley
    2 to 3 ribs parsley, diced
    1 pod garlic
    1 large can tomatoes
    2 qt. or more water
    1 lb. crab meat and a few claws for flavor
    2 or 3 bay leaves
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
    a little hot sauce or Tabasco
    sliced okra (about 1 lb.)
    file (if you wish, but only about 1 Tbsp.)
    2 to 3 lb. shrimp
    1 qt. oysters (if you like)
Preparation
    Make a roux of the flour and oil by browning, being careful not to get it too hot. Add the onion, bell pepper, parsley, celery, garlic and tomatoes. Add the water to this. Cook for 30 minutes or until vegetables are transparent. Add the crab meat and a few claws for flavor, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste and a little hot sauce or Tabasco.
