7 Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
dash of salt

Preparation

Mix in a double boiler, then place over boiling water.
Beat with an electric mixer constantly until frosting stands in peaks. Remove from heat and frost cake.
This frosting is great on a fresh coconut cake.
