Cheeseburger Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 deep pie crust shell
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
8 slices cheese, cut into small pieces
2 eggs, well beaten
1 (3 oz.) can French fried onions
1/4 c. tomato sauce
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Bake pastry shell for 8 minutes.
In large skillet, combine meat, green pepper, onion and salt; cook and stir over medium heat until meat browns.
Pour off fat.
Add cheese, stir until melted.
Remove from heat, stir in eggs and tomato sauce.
Turn into pastry shell.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven, arrange onions and, if desired, additional cheese slices on top.
Bake 2 minutes longer.
Refrigerate leftovers.
