Cocktail Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. fruit cocktail and juice
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, soda and salt.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Fold in fruit cocktail and juice.
    Put in a buttered 8 x 12-inch or 7 x 10-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar and chopped nuts on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
