Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 small potato, cooked and mashed
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. orange juice
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. orange marmalade
4 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco; add sugar.
Add eggs, marmalade and cooked potato.
Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
Add flour mixture alternately with orange juice.
Stir in chopped pecans.
Put in 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake covered for 20 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Uncover and bake 35 minutes.
