Apple Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 tart apples, pared and sliced thin
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Butter a baking dish or skillet.
    Arrange a layer of apples in dish; sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar.
    Add rest of apples.
    Top with crumbs made by working together butter, 1 cup brown sugar, flour and nuts.
    Bake 45 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    Serve warm with whipped cream.
