Tortoni - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1/4 c. light rum
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 c. coconut macaroon crumbs (about 12 small macaroons)
1/2 to 3/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted
1/3 to 1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
2 c. (1 pt.) whipped cream, whipped
Preparation

In large bowl, combine all ingredients, except whipped cream; mix well.
Fold in whipped cream.
Fill 2 1/2-inch foil cups; cover.
Or put in fancy glass bowl.
Cover.
Freeze 6 hours or until firm.
