Cinnamon Candy Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. pkg. cherry jello
    1 c. hot water
    1/4 c. red cinnamon candies
    1 c. chopped, pared apples
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 1 cup hot water.
    Add candy to 1/2 cup boiling water and stir to dissolve.
    Add enough water to make 1 cup of liquid.
    Add to dissolved jello and cool until partially set.
    Add remaining ingredients and pour into individual molds or ring mold.
    Chill until firm.
    Serve on lettuce.
    Serves 6.
