Lemon Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shortening
    4 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    dash of salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    12 oz. white raisins
    1 (2 oz.) bottle lemon extract
    4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and fold in flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add lemon extract and pour hot water over raisins.
    Let set for 2 hours, then add to cake mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
