Cloverleaf Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt (level)
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 yeast cakes
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    8 c. flour (approximately)
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over sugar, salt and shortening.
    Mix until dissolved.
    Let stand until lukewarm.
    Dissolve 2 yeast cakes in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
    Mix with other ingredients.
    Add 2 beaten eggs.
    Start adding flour gradually until all is used up.
    Set in refrigerator overnight.
    In the morning take out and knead on board.
    Form into 3 little balls and put in cupcake pans.
    Let raise for 3 hours in warm place covered with a damp cloth.
    When raised nicely, bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Brush top with butter before baking.
