Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pineapple
    1 lb. dates
    1 lb. cherries
    1 lb. white raisins
    6 c. nuts
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3 tsp. soda dissolved in 3 tsp. sweet milk
    1 fruit juice glass brandy or grape juice
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks.
    Add 2 cups flour sifted with spices, alternately with soda, milk and brandy.
    Add fruit and nuts which have been dredged with the rest of the flour. Add beaten egg whites.
    Last, drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes in 300\u00b0 oven.
