Fried Cabbage And Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. egg noodles, cooked and drained
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    1/4 tsp. caraway seed
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    While noodles are cooking, melt butter in large skillet and saute onions until transparent.
    Rinse shredded cabbage in cold water and add to onion.
    Sprinkle salt, pepper and caraway seed. Cover skillet and steam until cabbage is tender.
    Drain noodles and add to cabbage mixture.
    Be careful not to break up noodles.
    You can add diced ham or chunks of bologna to cabbage while steaming if you desire.
    You can serve it as is or with sliced tomatoes for color.
