Whiskey Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 c. dark Karo
1/4 tsp. soda
pinch of salt
1 stick butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. flour
grated peel of large orange
1/4 c. whiskey
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Preparation

In a saucepan, mix sugar, Karo, soda and salt. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and cool. Stir in the butter, beaten eggs, flour, orange peel and whiskey. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until firm in the center.
