Frozen Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced cucumbers, sliced thinly
    1 large onion, sliced thinly
    1 green pepper, sliced thinly
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Cover the sliced vegetables with water and the salt. Refrigerate for 24 hours; drain.
    Pour over mixture of sugar, vinegar and celery seed.
    Let stand in refrigerator for 48 hours. Stir and freeze.
    Serve in slushy to thawed state.
    Keeps well.
