T~E~G'S Perfect Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. long grain rice
1/4 stick butter
1/2 large onion, chopped
3 c. chicken stock (exactly 1 1/2 c. per c. of rice)
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Take long grain rice and rinse 5 times until the water is clear. Drain water and set rice aside.
Using a large skillet (preferably an iron skillet), heat butter until melted, and then reducing heat to medium. Place prepared rice into skillet with butter. Add onion. Cook rice and onions on medium heat for 2 minutes. Add chicken stock. Add salt. Add pepper. Cover and place skillet in 400\u00b0 oven for exactly 18 minutes. Remove and serve.
