Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1. Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. instant minced onion
2- 16 oz. cans sliced beets, drained
Preparation

In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt; slowly pour in vinegar; add margarine and minced onion.
Over medium heat, cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low and add beets.
Cook until heated, stirring occasionally.
