Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. almonds, ground
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg yolks and flavoring; beat thoroughly.
Add flour, salt and almonds.
Mix until blended.
Form into a roll about 2 inches in diameter. Wrap in wax paper and chill for several hours.
Slice and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
