Morning Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (1/4 oz.) active dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
    1 c. warm milk (110~ to 115~)
    2 c. sugar, divided
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    5 1/2 to 6 c. all-purpose flour
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened and divided
    1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water; let stand for 5 minutes.
    Add milk, 1/2 cup sugar, oil, salt, eggs, extract and 2 cups flour; beat well.
    Add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
    Turn onto a floured board; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6 to 8 minutes.
    Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
    Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
    Punch the dough down.
