Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix together milk and egg and oil and sugar.
Add to the cornmeal mixture. Stir only enough to mix.
Fill greased baking pan half full.
Bake at 425\u00b0 about 25 minutes or until lightly brown.
Can also be baked in a greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
Makes 6 servings.
