Strawberry Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
    16 buttery crackers, crushed
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    fresh strawberries
    strawberry glaze
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until almost stiff.
    Slowly beat in 1/2 cup of sugar and add vanilla.
    Mix together cracker crumbs, chopped pecans and 1/2 cup of sugar.
    Fold in stiff egg whites gently.
    Put in a 10-inch greased pie tin and bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes. Take from oven and cool.
