Oreo Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
    12 oz. size Cool Whip
Preparation
    Save 1 cup cookies for topping.
    Mix together; place in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Freeze for 24 hours.
    Cut in squares to serve.
