Ingredients

2 c. chopped pecans
3 Tbsp. butter
3 large cans evaporated milk
2 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 qt. milk
Preparation

Saute pecans in butter for 5 minutes, until toasted.
Cool. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
Pour mixture into freezer can.
Freeze until ice cream is thick.
Remove dasher and add pecans.
Return dasher and freeze until firm.
Let ripen one hour.
