Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
    2 pkg. chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. soda cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Saute onion in 4 tablespoons butter until soft.
    Stir in flour.
    Add water.
    Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
    Blend in Cheez Whiz and combine sauce with broccoli.
    Add eggs and mix gently until blended.
    Turn into 1 1/2-quart greased casserole.
    Cover with crumbs and dot with remaining butter.
    Bake covered at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 8 servings.
