English Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pound cake
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
    2 c. milk
    2 c. whipped cream or Cool Whip
    2 pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed or 1 pkg. strawberries and 1 pkg. peach raspberry preserves
    brandy, sherry or rum
Preparation
    Make pudding according to box directions.
    Coat glass bowl with raspberry preserves.
    Layer with slices of cake (sprinkled with brandy, sherry or rum), pudding, whipped cream and fruit with juice.
    Continue layering to top of bowl.
