One Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pinch salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Beat eggs, sugar and shortening.
    Blend well.
    Add alternately dry ingredients and wet ingredients.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
    Use 9-inch round pan or 9 x 12-inch pan.
