Carnations Famous Fudge(Makes 2 Pounds) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2/3 c. undiluted evaporated milk
    2 c. (4 oz.) miniature marshmallows
    1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Butter an 8-inch square pan.
    In saucepan, combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar and salt.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts.
    Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows melt and blend.
    Pour into pan. Cool and cut into squares.
    Hint: For thicker fudge, use a 7 x 5-inch loaf pan.
