Ingredients

1/2 lb. and 1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 egg
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. coconut
2 Tbsp. instant vanilla pudding
2 Tbsp. milk
2 c. confectioners sugar
4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
Preparation

Layer 1:
Put 1/2 cup butter, granulated sugar, unsweetened chocolate and vanilla in top of double boiler and cook over boiling water until well blended.
Add egg and cook 5 minutes longer, stirring.
Add crumbs, nuts and coconut.
Mix with slotted spoon.
Press into 9-inch pan.
Cool.
Chill 15 minutes.
