English Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can LeSueur peas
    4 hard-boiled eggs
    4 or 5 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Drain peas; pour into mixing bowl.
    Grate eggs and cheese over peas.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Stir well with a fork so the peas won't get mashed.
    Add 1 to 2 tablespoons salad dressing or mayonnaise, if desired.
