Cabbage Beef Casserole(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 medium onions
    1 medium head cabbage (about 2 lb.), sliced
    2 medium carrots, sliced or grated
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. rice
    1/2 c. water
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Saute ground beef and onions in 5-quart saucepan until meat is lightly brown.
    Drain off fat.
    Remove from heat; put in a 3-quart casserole.
    Pour rice over meat.
    Add cabbage and carrots.
    Pour beef broth and water over mixture; cover casserole and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    To serve, mix well.
